Healing Energy Practitioners
Tibetan Bowl Sound Healing
Mark Woodhouse has completed the course of study and 200 hours of practice for certification from Diane Mandle’s Tibetan Bowl Sound Healing School in Encinitas California. This form of complimentary therapy uses traditional singing bowls crafted in Tibet and Nepal to correct imbalances and blockages of energy that contribute to various forms of physical and emotional distress. The bowls are placed on and around the body and played in patterns that induce a state of deep relaxation and allow the body’s natural healing process to function optimally. In the Tibetan Buddhist culture in which these sacred instruments were developed they are also considered to be conducive to increased spiritual awareness and growth.
In addition to the study of sound healing, Mark is a long time practitioner of Zen Buddhism, having studied formally since the early 1990’s with the late John Daido Loori Roshi and his successor, Geoffrey Shugen Arnold at Zen Mountain Monastery in Mount Tremper New York.

Energy Healing/Guided Meditation
Diane Woodhouse is a graduate from the IM School of Healing Arts, a four-year training program in New York City. She is also a certified Raphaelite Healer. These modes of healing focus on being present and allowing the universal flow of energy to come through to help focus our awareness at a deeper level. She uses a light gentle touch to open and balance energy centers in the body (chakras) and help bring flow, balance and harmony to body, mind and spirit.
Diane has been an assistant teacher for the past 15 years with the Hidden Treasure program at Light on the Hill retreat center near Van Etten, NY. This is a 3 year course focused on self awareness and transformational healing. Here she often leads stress relieving meditations which invite participants to relax and open up to their higher essence. Diane has a BA in Fine Arts and an MLS in Information Science. Before her retirement she enjoyed a career as a Library Media Specialist working with children in a school setting for 32 years.
